Many existing or potential Xobni and Smartr users have requested access to their iCloud contacts from Xobni and Smartr Apps. Unlike many other networks, such as Facebook, Google, and Twitter, Apple does not have an OAuth flow. (OAuth is an open standard for authorization. It allows users to share their personal data stored on one site with another site without having to share their username and password.)
As a result, Xobni has built this solution, on behalf of our users, to enable them to bring all the email and contacts from their icloud.com, me.com and mac.com email accounts into their respective Xobni and Smartr accounts.
Due to the high levels of security with which we store your passwords, you may find that you need to occasionally sign in to your iCloud account to renew your credentials.
Currently Xobni does not store passwords for any other outside service.
